Technical Requirements for Learners
Workplace Answers Training Courses can be accessed from almost anywhere you can get on the Internet. Here are the Operating Systems/Browser configurations currently supported for users accessing and viewing Training Courses:

56kbps Dial-Up [for courses without audio narration or Flash animation]
128kbps or faster [broadband or high speed, for courses with audio or Flash]
- Required Browser Plug-ins: Adobe Flash Player 7 or higher
- All browsers must have session cookies and be SSL enabled
- Flash-enabled Training Courses require Adobe Flash Player, Versions 7 or higher
The following Operating System/Browser configurations are supported for Authorized Administrators accessing and viewing SLATE Learning Management System. All browsers must have session cookies and SSL enabled:
- Windows Operating System, Windows 2000 – Vista
Internet Explorer Browser, Versions 5.5, 6.0, 7.0
- Macintosh Operating System, OSX 10.2x
Firefox Browser, Versions 1.5, 3.0 (General Release)
Section 508 Compliance
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires federal agencies to ensure that online training provided to their employees is accessible to those who are deaf, blind, or physically impaired. Workplace Answers courses are designed to be compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards for disabled users, and has successfully done so for numerous federal agencies and higher education clients.
