Racism in the workplace undermines inclusion goals and can significantly damage the organization’s reputation. This course increases understanding of what racism is and the role of racism in everyday interactions. The course examines racism between different races and the impact of color bias by members of the same race. Many people are not aware of their own bias against members of other races. This course is an excellent antidote to that implicit bias as it provides compelling contemporary and historical information about the current state of racism as well as racism’s beginnings. The course concludes with specific strategies to eradicate racism in the workplace.
