Lynn has been practicing employment law exclusively on the management side for over 20 years. She began her legal career in San Francisco at Littler, Mendelson, the renown leader in the field of employment law. She later moved to Fisher & Phillips LLP, where she became an equity partner in 1995.
Lynn has conducted hundreds of face-to-face employment law training programs for both supervisors and employees, specializing in all forms of employee and managerial employment law-related training. Lynn has also represented many private and public entities in harassment and discrimination charges and litigation. She has testified as an expert witness in unlawful harassment matters, and frequently conducts “remedial” training for supervisors or executives who have been accused of harassment or discrimination.
Lynn’s legal experience in employment law counseling, litigation and training and her passion for prevention of employment disputes are the qualities that make her an outstanding instructor. She has conducted face-to-face employment law training sessions for hundreds of entities, including: Yahoo, the State of California, the Driver Alliant Insurance Group, Celgene Corporation, Old Republic Title, American Association of Ophthalmology, Entravision Communications, Netsuite, Monterey County, Chabot Space & Science Center and Visa Inc.
Lynn has extensive experience in designing and implementing employee education initiatives. In 2005, Lynn consulted with the California’s Fair Employment and Housing Commission (FEHC) regarding Web-based sexual harassment training, and Ms. Lieber actively participated with the Commission in the creation of training regulations mandated in AB 1825 (California Government Code §12950.1).
Lynn Lieber graduated cum laude from the University of the Pacific in California. She earned a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served as the Technical Editor of the Computer and High Technology Law Journal.
