Role-Based Training Administration

For large organizations where local training administration is most effective, SLATE allows you to assign LMS administrator roles compatible with a manager’s position or work location.

Another flexible option within the SLATE platform allows for the assignment of "local" LMS administrators compatible with an individual’s position or work location. It's perfect for training initiatives where an on-site training administrator is desirable to re-set passwords or monitor completion within their own department — and where access is allowed only to training data compatible with a Learner’s position or work location.  

This feature allows you to designate local LMS Administrators a limited set of functions, including: 

  • Add/Delete Learners/Course registration
  • Print Certificates of Completion for employees
  • Resend registration emails/Reset Learner passwords

In this way, in addition to setting local guidelines from a global perspective, you can categorize tasks by role, bringing more people into the job of helping administer and manage training — accomplishing more in a shorter time.
